Rozalina Samson, a Kenyan nanny who went viral after her emotional sendoff at a Lebanese Airport, has reunited with her former employer.
On Monday, January 21, Rozalina also known as Rosie, was seen at an airport in Lebanon in yet another warm moment with the family that had for years treated her as one of their own.
In videos shared from the airport, the two children Rosie took care of ran towards her in sheer delight eager to meet the nanny who took them as her daughters.
Rosie, seemingly overwhelmed with emotions, knelt down to hug the two girls as her former employers, Maria and Cataleya captured the moment in a video.
Maria, the mother of the two girls joyously watched the moment while acknowledging how the family had missed Rosie.
In a caption to the video, Rosi expressed her delight in the reunion, stating that God had made it possible for the reunion many wished would happen.
On their part, the employers said, “Love always win, Rosie kept her promise and came back even though she got many offers.”
The reunion came one month after Rosie left the family to return to Kenya in December 2023.
Rosie had travelled to Lebanon in one of the now common immigrations to countries in the Middle East.
But her relationship with the Lebanese employers was different to what has been the imagination of many in Kenya.
Kenyan nanny who changed perspective of Middle East jobs
In December 2023, Rosie earned fame after her employer shared a video showing an emotional moment where they found it difficult to say goodbye to each other after a two-year spell.
The Kenyan lady who hails from Siaya County had raised the family’s two girls and created a special bond.
But she had to come back to Kenya and reunite with her own children.

In Kenya, Rosie became a subject of discussion with Kenyans comparing her experience with that of several other nannies who were either tortured or had bad experiences with employers in the Middle East.
In an interview, Rosie said she had left Kenya to look for greener pastures after falling out with her former husband.
