Bongo music sensation Mbosso Khan was on Tuesday evening involved in a road accident in the USA, where he went to promote his 2022 Album. He posted a video of his damaged car on the night of February 14th, 2023, on his Instagram stories.
He confirmed sustaining some injuries on his ribs, shoulder & spine but assured his fans of his well-being. The accident occurred shortly after he shared a clip of himself site-seeing along Denny Way in Seattle, WA.

According to the videos he shared, Mbosso’s car seemed to have been knocked by an oncoming vehicle on the passenger’s side where he was seated, forcing the airbag to deploy. The other vehicle in the accident was mangled at the front, and its bumper was dislodged from the impact. The videos also show that police were present at the accident scene while Mbosso and his crew were attended to by an ambulance.

Whether or not the accident will affect the rest of the dates on his schedule is still unclear but, the vibrant song writer had already performed in various cities including Seattle-Washington, and Phoenix-Arizona where a respectable number of fans turned out.

Back in 2022, Mbosso cancelled a scheduled tour to the USA due to medical reasons. He revealed to his fans through his social media accounts that his doctor had advised him to lay back a bit. “Hello, my USA fans, due to medical reasons, the doctor recommended that should not travel or sit in a plane for more than eight hours”.

Mbosso had earlier on opened about battling a heart condition that sometimes hinders his stage performance. He has joined the extensive list of East Africa’s music sensations who have toured the USA to promote their albums including Kenya’s Otile Brown, Nonini, Arrow Boy, Nadia Mukami and Tanzania’s Diamond, Harmonize.
His fans sympathized with him and sent him messages of goodwill.
