The ex-lover of Kenyan musician Major Nameye Khadija famously known as Mejja cause a stir online after sharing a post seemingly referring to the musician as a ‘Luhya watchman’.
Milly Wairimu, posted an old photo of herself with Mejja in a car, accompanied by the caption, “Ukishaa lose feelings za mtu ulikuwa unapenda unaanzanga kuona akikaa watchman mlughya”

The caption can be translated to “Once you don’t love someone anymore, you start seeing them as a Luhya watchman.”
