Nyaboke Moraa Opens Up on Her Life After Losing Daughter

Kenyan actress and content creator Nyaboke Moraa has revealed details of her lifestyle lately months after losing her daughter.

She made a post on Instagram stating that she has been drinking and sleeping all day. The actress also revealed that she spends her days in her bedroom with curtains not drawn.

“I have been doing nothing but just sleep in my bedroom day and night, curtains not drawn, and drink myself silly to just get a few hours of sleep every day,” stated Nyaboke.

Nyaboke appreciates friend for getting her out of the house 

The actress went on to appreciate one of her friends who had vowed to get her out of bed in an effort to help her with her physical and mental health.

“I have few concerned friends, and one said she will pluck me out of bed to deal with me. She said she wants to take care of my physical and mental health as best as she can to help me out. Let me tell you, Maina, I don’t know whether I will pull through,” added Nyaboke.

This comes months after Nyaboke lost her eldest child, Marie Achieng. Moraa posted an emotional message accompanied by a video of herself and her 19-year-old daughter. Marie was Nyaboke’s only daughter.

The news of Marie’s death was broken by her friend and actress Sandra Dacha.

Nyaboke Moraa loses brother 

“It is with profound sadness that I announce to you the passing on of Nyaboke Moraa’s daughter. Your prayers are what she needs right now. Rest in peace Marie,” stated Sandra

The death of her child came barely a month after losing her brother.

“One minute we are happy and enjoying, the next minute we are lost. The Nyariki family has been struck yet again. We have lost our big brother. Waited for you to come for our reunion but you missed your flight. Now we are mourning your sudden death,” stated Nyaboke.

Nyaboke is a mother of four children. She was once married to the former Rugby coach Benjamin Ayimba with whom she sired two children. The two were married for eight years until they separated in 2018.
