Comedian YY has introduced a new girl days after announcing his break-up with Noela Toywa.
YY posted a video of himself and musician Maandy having a cozy interaction. In the video, the two are holding hands while walking outside a building and laughing heartily.
The comedian accompanied the video with a sentimental message in Spanish, conveying his feelings.
“No es normal ser amada así (It is normal to be loved like this),” wrote YY.
Kenyans react to YY’s video
The post has elicited mixed reactions with some online users claiming that the two are chasing clout for a song that Maandy Kabaya is set to release. Some stated that YY is the best when it comes to chasing clout.
“Maandy should release that song. We know how this game is played,” said Shaine Hazard.
“Yy comedian is the biggest clout chaser after Willy Paul, Bahati, and Mulamwah,” stated an Instagram user, Richkidd Wizzy.

Maandy, whose real name is Amanda Mitchelle Wambui is a Kenyan singer, songwriter, and an entertainer.
The comedian confirmed that he broke up with his ex-girlfriend Noela Toywa in January 2025 after dating for barely two months.
He announced the break-up through an online interview but did not give further details of what led to the break-up.
“We separated, just like people do. It is life. Let us talk about my show,” YY said.

The comedian introduced Noela Toywa on his social media accounts in November 2024, and the two lovebirds have been updating their online profiles with moments of them having a good time and displaying their love for each other.
“You have brought a lot of happiness into my life, and it’s an honour to have you,” stated YY in one of the posts with Noela.

He was bashed after announcing his new relationship with Noela, which came shortly after his breakup with actress Marya Okoth.
He had been in a relationship with Marya for about five years, and they have a daughter together.
In response to the trolls, the father of one defended his decision which many people termed ‘rush’ stating that he needed to do that lest he lose interest in women.
“I am a family person and therefore I would love to build a family for myself. As a man if you take a very long break, you will never move on and you will never want anything to do with women,” said YY.
