A family in Nairobi is seeking answers on what led to the death of their kin, Faith Momanyi who was found dead at her boyfriend’s home.
Faith’s father said he was shocked of learning about the demise of her daughter.

“When I arrived, I found people gathered, and I was very confused to hear that. I fainted, and we came all the way to Mbagathi, where we found the body already here on the table,” Faith’s father narrated.
Faith, who turned 19 on March 6, left her parents’ home to go and celebrate her birthday with her friends.

It is reported that the 19-year-old went to celebrate her birthday with her friends at a club in Langa’ata road.
Faith Momanyi Found Dead at Boyfriend’s Home
A friend who was in the company of Faith and other friends narrated that after having fun with her friends, Faith and her buddies left the popular joint.

She revealed further that she and Faith later went to her boyfriend’s house.

According to her account, she departed the house a few minutes after midnight, leaving Faith and her lover alone themselves.
“We were just there enjoying and having fun, then when night came, Mark said he was going to sleep and that we should sleep on the couch. Shortly after, my mom came for me, so I left.” the friend narrated.
Radio Presenter Found Dead at her Boyfriend’s Home
The friend was unable to reach Faith the following day through the phone and Faith’s boyfriend who had accommodated them gave her a call at about five o’clock in the evening. He informed her of Faith’s passing.
“He went to work and returned at 5 PM. I met him on the stairs, and he asked if I had the key because the house was locked. Suddenly, he found a spare key and opened the door. Upon opening, he called me, saying that Faith was on the bed and had passed away. I went and touched her, she was dead,” the friend explained.

Faith death was a result of lack of air and that there was also a considerable amount of water in her lungs according to an autopsy that was conducted on her body.
A similar incident occurred on November 4, 2024, where a Radio Presenter Lilian Achieng Aluko was found dead at her boyfriend’s house.
Lilian, a host on the local radio station, was discovered dead at her boyfriend’s residence with facial injuries and a back stab wound.
