Agatha Naserian is a popular and talented Maa gospel singer who has risen to prominence in Kenya’s gospel music industry with the support of Johana Ng’eno.
Following the tragic passing of Johana Ng’eno, Agatha has described him as someone who believed in her career and her potential to achieve her dreams.
“You not only believed in my dream, but you went out of your way to support it. We have lost a great leader. Rest in peace, Mheshimiwa Johana Ng’eno. My heartfelt condolences to the family and people of Emurua Dikir,” said Johana Ng’eno.
On January 11, 2026, Agatha Naserian appeared alongside Ng’eno at a church service at Shining Light of God Ministries in Kapchorwa.

Agatha Naserian is recognized for her contributions to Maa cultural and religious music, which also includes traditional Maasai influences.
Although Agatha focuses on her native language, she often includes English subtitles in her videos to help non-Maa speakers understand the cultural and spiritual messages.

Death of Member of Parliament Johana Ng’eno
Johana Ng’eno Kipyegon was a Kenyan politician who served as the Member of Parliament for the Emurua Dikirr Constituency in Narok County.
He died on February 28, 2026, in a helicopter crash. The plane carrying six people crashed and caught fire in Mosop, Nandi County, after reportedly attempting an emergency landing before it caught fire shortly after touching down.

The family of the late Emurua Dikirr MP Johanna Ng’eno has confirmed his burial will take place on Friday, March 6, following consultations between leaders and grieving relatives in Narok County.
The burial programme was agreed upon during a meeting between the governor and bereaved families at the late MP’s home.
Ng’eno served as an MP representing Emurua Dikirr since 2013, was re-elected in 2017 and 2022, and was serving his third term.
Before entering politics, he served as a Director at the Agricultural Development Corporation (ADC) from 2008 to 2012.
