Naiyanoi Ntutu Career and Background
Naiyanoi hails from the well‑known Ntutu family in Narok County. She is the daughter of former Narok Senator Stephen Ole Ntutu, who served Narok from 2013 to 2017.
Her extended family also includes her uncle, Patrick Ole Ntutu, who currently serves as the governor of Narok County.
As a lawyer, Naiyanoi has described herself as someone who cares deeply about women’s rights and ensuring women understand the laws that protect them.
She has taken part in community programs across Narok and Emurua Dikirr, helping women learn about their rights, access legal support, and stand up for themselves in different situations.
She also encourages school‑age girls to stay in class, focus on their education, and build confidence to become future leaders.
Outside her professional work, Naiyanoi is also a mother. She and her late husband, Johana Ng’eno, have a young family together and are parents to two daughters

Marriage, Public Life, and Loss
Naiyanoi Ntutu married Johana Ng’eno on August 18, 2018, in a colourful wedding held at Emurua Dikirr Secondary School. The event attracted prominent leaders, including then Deputy President William Ruto, Oscar Sudi, and Patrick Ole Ntutu.
Ng’eno, then 45, was a sitting legislator, serving his second term.
Naiyanoi has been involved in community events and supported her husband’s public work while managing her own legal career and raising their children.

Her life changed suddenly when her husband died in a helicopter crash – she was thrust into the public limelight.
Oscar Sudi acknowledged John Ng’eno as a friend and family recalling when he took him to find a wife, Naiyanoi Ntutu.In a Facebook post he shared when Ngeno died, he said;
“August 17, 2018, will forever remain etched in my mind. That morning, I took Emurua Dikir MP Johanna Ngeno to find a wife. It was an engagement. I remember every moment we shared, every laugh, every story, every dream.”
On Monday, March 1, President William Ruto visited the family at their Karen residence in Nairobi. Photos from the State House showed the President consoling Naiyanoi and having a conversation.
