American Tower Corporation Kenya (ATC Kenya) has announced the appointment of George Odenyo as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective January 1, 2024.
Odenyo’s journey with the company began in 2020, serving as the Director and Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to joining ATC Kenya, he held the role of Finance Director at Eaton Towers Kenya from November 2015 to February 2020.
His work experience also includes a stint as the Head of Finance at MTN Business from 2001 to 2009.
Through his career, Odenyo has showcased his expertise and leadership skills in progressively responsible roles, contributing significantly to the success of the organizations he has been a part of.
George Odenyo’s leadership and strategic acumen have been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and securing its financial position.
His contributions have not only ensured the company’s current success but also positioned it for future accomplishments.

George Odenyo Education
Academically, Odenyo is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
He holds an MBA from Strathmore University Business School and has completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) from Harvard Business School.
George also has a bachelor’s degree in commerce BCom from Catholic University of East Africa.
