The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced job vacancies targeting qualified Kenyans in different carders.
In an advert on Tuesday, October 24, PSC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Simon Rotich Invited applications from qualified persons for seventeen positions.
To begin with, the Public Service Commission is seeking to recruit five Principal Management Analysts and four Principal Human Resource Management and Development Officers.
“The details of the posts and mode of application can be accessed on the Commission’s website,” said the CEO.
Further, the Commission advertised two vacancies for the position of Human Resource Management and Development Officers.
Additionally, PSC announced three opportunities for Performance Management and Service Delivery Transformation Centre.
Two Principal Legal Officers and one Legal Officer will also be hired during the recruitment exercise.
Moreover, the Public Service Commission is looking for two Principal Monitoring and Evaluation Officers and Principal Governance Officers.
“Interested and qualified persons are required to make their application online through the Commission’s website www.publicservice.go.ke or jobs portal www.pscjobs.go.ke,” said PSC.
In addition, PSC published four openings for the position of Principal Compliance Audit Officer and another two for the post of Senior Support Staff.
Furthermore, PSC is searching for ten Office Administrative Assistants and two receptionists.
Also, the Public Service Commission announced one chance for the following posts: Finance Officer, Accountant, Risk Management Officer, Information System Auditor and Supply Chain Management Officer.
“The applications should reach the Commission on or before November14,2023 latest 5pm East African Time,” read the advert in part.

Public Service Commission Shortlists Candidates
In another advert, PSC published the names of shortlisted candidates for the positions of chairperson and member of the Universal Service Advisory Council.
In the announcement, the Commission shortlisted ten candidates for the position of Chairperson and 52 candidates for the position of member.
This what out of the thirty-five applications for the position of Chairperson and one hundred and fifty-one applicants for the position of Member.
“Following the conclusion of the shortlisting exercise, the Commission publishes the names and the interview schedule of the shortlisted candidates and calls for public participation requesting for comments on any of the candidates,” said the CEO.
Moreover, the interview dates of the Chairperson will be Monday October 30 and Tuesday October 31.

On the other hand, individuals shortlisted for the position of Member will be interviewed on October 30, 31 and November 1.
“The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed at the PSC, Harambee Avenue Nairobi on the date and indicated. They should be at the venue at least fifteen minutes before the starting time,” read the statement.
The candidates will be required to carry the National Identity Card, Academic and Professional Certificates and any other supporting documents.
Additionally, they should have clearance from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
