Hezron Obaga Onkoba is the Secretary General of the Democratic Congress Party (DCP).
Obaga was appointed as the party Secretary General (SG) on May 15th, 2025, by the party leader Rigathi Gachagua.

Before joining DCP, he was a member of the Jubilee Party.
During the 2025 by-elections in Magarini, DCP candidate Furaha Chengo Ngumbao parted ways with the party, citing frustrations with Obaga.
Furaha accused Obaga of poor communication, neglect of grassroots concerns, and a failure to provide clear guidance, leaving aspirants to navigate blindly during the by-elections.
In December 2025, reports alleged that Obaga is the owner of the DCP Party and he’s planning to take his party and chase all the cartels from the party.
