Kenyan Woman Gives Birth to Triplets, Names Them After Arsenal Trio

The triplets have been named after Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli, all who have already made their debuts for the Brazilian national team.

Epakan Ekaale, a Kenyan woman hailing from Turkana County, has given birth to triplets and named them after Arsenal football players.

The triplets have been named after Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Jesus, and Gabriel Martinelli who have all made their debuts for the Brazilian national team.

“I gave birth to two girls and a boy. The boy is called Gabriel Jesus while the girls are Martinelli and Magalhaes,” Ekaale said.

The 30-year-old woman further explains what pushed her in naming her babies after the players.

“Since I am a devoted Arsenal fan, I chose to name my children the three Gabriel’s of Arsenal,” she said.

Ekaale now has a total of six children, comprising three boys and three girls.

Ekaale  Calling on Well Wishers

Ekaale narrates that she only found out that she was having triplets when she visited Kakuma Mission Hospital for delivery.

“I was surprised when I was told that I would give birth to more than one baby, but I thank God I delivered safely with the help of health workers,” Ekaale shared.

Ekaale found herself overwhelmed with a mixture of emotions upon receiving the news of her triple blessings at Kakuma Mission Hospital.

However, amidst the joy, Ekaale, who relies on a small charcoal-selling business in Northern Kenya to support her family, expressed worry about meeting the needs of her newborns, especially considering her husband’s occupation as a livestock herder.

Therefore, she called on well-wishers to help in raising the three babies.

Arsenal Supporters Celebrating the Triplets

The mother of triplets however lauded a group of Turkana County Arsenal Supporters who visited her just five hours after her delivery at the hospital.

Inspired by her story and their shared love for the football club, the supporters rallied together, pooling resources to assist the new mother.

They provided essential items for the triplets, including baby formula, laundry detergent, bathing soap, diapers, and clothing.

The three Gabriel’s are Brazilian players and have been a key part of Arsenal’s impressive start to the season which has powered them to the top of the Premier League after several matches.
