Two-bedroom apartments and office units in the exclusive 24-storey the Le Mac Tower in Westlands, Nairobi, have been advertised for public auction.
In a notice issued on Thursday, March 26, Direct “O” Auctioneers will spearhead the auction process.
“Duly instructed by our Principals, the Chargees/Administrators, we shall sell by Public Auction the under captioned properties together with any improvements erected thereon,” read the notice in part.
Le’Mac property, developed on LR No. 1870/V/271 along Church Road, is registered in the name of Mark Prime Properties Limited, which is currently under administration.
The auction will comprise prime commercial and office spaces, as well as 46 two-bedroom apartments located within Le’Mac.
The property comprises a 24-storey mixed-use development with three basement levels designated for parking and storage, and is held under a leasehold interest.
It sits on approximately 0.5354 hectares (1.3232 acres), equivalent to 5,354 square metres.
Located in Westlands, the development is near key landmarks including Sanlam House and the Safaricom Headquarters.
The listed units vary in size, as detailed in the auction notice.
According to the auction notice, the units come with existing infrastructure, including electricity, water supply, and a connected wastewater drainage system.
The auction is scheduled for April 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Nairobi offices of Direct “O” Auctioneers.

Mark Properties, Owner of Le’Mac Placed Under Administration
Mark Prime Properties Limited was placed under administration on March 26, 2021, by its financier, I&M Bank Limited.
An Administrator was appointed to manage the company’s affairs following proceedings in Insolvency Cause Number 010 of 2021, in the matter of Mark Prime Properties Limited (in liquidation).
Mark Properties is the owner of the 24-storey Le Mac tower, valued at approximately Ksh5 billion.
Once a company is placed under administration, the management of the company vests in the Administrator to the exclusion of the directors, whose functions are suspended.
Thus, the Administrator is correct to point out that upon commencement of administration, they, as the proper agent, have the power to assume control of the company’s assets and manage its affairs to achieve the objectives set out under section 522 of the Insolvency Act.
Pursuant to Section 576 and the 4th Schedule of the Insolvency Act, the Administrator has the power to bring or defend any action or other legal proceedings in the name and on behalf of the company.
Further, the Administrator has the power to compromise any such matters, and the 4th Schedule also grants the Administrator the power to appoint an advocate or any other professionally qualified person to assist the Administrator in the performance of the Administrator’s functions.
