Kasmuel McOure, an Alliance boys Alumni popularly known as Kaskazini, who had been reported missing, has joined the ongoing antigovernment protests in Nairobi CBD.
Kasmuel who had been reported missing for over 48 hours stated that following his release, he went home, changed into a new suit and went back to the streets.
However, he has said that he still cannot speak about his abduction because he is yet to process what transpired.
“We have no faith in our political class and their good will for us. I cannot speak about my detention because I have not yet processed it.
“I just got home this morning. I have left my father and family distraught in the house. I have told them that I have to come here because I have not been bought off,” he said.

Additionally, Kasmuel lamented that the Kenyan youth did not have faith in the government of Kenya.
According to him, the killings reported as a result of the protests could have been avoided if President William Ruto would have responded faster.
Further, he noted that police officers shot indiscriminately at medical practitioners and children, making it unsafe for Kenyans to protest.
“It has gotten increasingly unsafe, and I think this is an intimidation tactic by the state which has been scared. They did not expect this to come from the youth.
“This could have been sorted out by President William Ruto just toning down and withdrawing the bill as a sign of good will,” added Kasmuel.
Despite his harrowing ordeal, Kasmuel has indicated that he is still as strong as ever. Although scared, he added that he will continue fighting for the people of Kenya.
“I am afraid, I have not decompressed, I have not eaten, I have not showered. I want to tell the people of Kenya that I am with you.
“We do not need to make it to the protected area, but when we do, I will be there,” Kasmuel said.
