Likewise, it has been a milestone year for the company as it turned 10, reaching 150M+ customers across more than 500 cities worldwide in 45 countries.
“This year, our 150M+ customers helped us take another step towards our mission to make better cities, and not private cars,” Kenya Country manager Linda Ndung’u said.
In November, the Taxi hailing company discontinued 5,000 drivers from its platform due to non-compliance and safety-related matters.
In a statement seen by The Kenya Times, the company noted that the discontinuation had been in progress for six months in line with its commitment to safety.

“To help us keep working towards our mission, we’re inviting everyone in Kenya to submit their ideas through our social media channels on how to make their city more people-friendly,” she added.
Edgar Kitur, Bolt Food Country Manager, echoed the same success sentiments in the food delivery service this year.
He noted, “Our delivery service has not only met but exceeded expectations, setting new standards in efficiency and customer satisfaction.
