A Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) officer is on the spot after allegedly shooting a Boda Boda rider in Nakuru. The officer, who is based in Nakuru’s Molo Sub County, allegedly shot the rider named Keitanyi on Wednesday night after he had dropped the officer’s wife at her home.
According to Keitanyi, who is currently hospitalized at Nairobi Women’s Hospital, the officer began interrogating him about his wife immediately after he dropped her off. He recounted that the officer shot him in the head and began torturing him.

“I picked up a passenger who asked me to take her home in Ole Polos. When we arrived, I dropped her off at the second gate. That’s when I saw an older man waiting there,” Keitanyi narrated.
“The man then started questioning me about where I had come from with his wife. He harassed me and demanded that I push the motorbike to his place. I found myself bleeding badly and struggled to get away,” he added.
