Legendary Kenyan rapper Julius Owino alias Juliani has unleashed another side of him that not many are familiar with.
Juliani recently proved to Kenyans that he is not only a talented rapper but also a witty comedian with a rich sense of sarcasm.
The rapper on Tuesday, September 20, evening decided to address an attack he had been hit with by a random tweep who claimed he is poor.
As earlier reported by The Kenya Times, a random tweep by the name Kababa insinuated Lilian Ng’ang’a did a terrible blunder by dumping Alfred Mutua for Juliani.
According to Kababa, Lilian Ng’ang’a’s child with grow up to regret why his mother left a rich man for a struggling rapper.
His sentiments sparked mixed reactions online with many netizens agreeing with him as some stood their ground to defend Juliani.
Well, Juliani decided to also add weight on the who issue, albeit with a pinch of sarcasm and satire.
Taking to his Twitter account, the father of two jokingly claimed he is poor as revealed by Kababa and cannot even afford to buy diapers for his child.
To spice up his online joke, Juliani even shared a Paybill number through which people can send money to him for his baby’s diapers.
“Wase! Nikubaya niko BROKE! mtoi anahitaji pampers. Please send mpesa. Paybill: Business number – 784577 Account- Juliani Chochote unaeza itasaidia. Yours truly, Struggling rapper/entrepreneur,” He wrote.
Clearly, the artist was joking but his joke passed many Kenyans who truly believed he is indeed broke.
Others, specifically who got his joke could not help but die with laughter.
Juliani’s clever joke came barely two days after his lover Lilian Ng’ang’a took to social media to address the same issue.
The Kenya Times earlier reported how Lilian, through her post on Instagram wondered why people were busy poking their noses into her private life.
While Lilian seemed angered by Kababa’s remarks, she noted Kenyans can keep digging into her private life.
