Senior NIS Officer Found Dead in His Kilimani Home

Senior NIS Officer Dies by Suicide, Leaves Behind Note

A senior National Intelligence Service (NIS) officer, identified as Tom Adala, allegedly took his own life on Tuesday, June 4 at his residence in Kilimani, Nairobi.

According to reports, Adala failed to show up for work on Tuesday morning, which was highly unusual for the seasoned intelligence officer.

His colleagues grew concerned as his phone went unanswered throughout the day. Worried about his well-being, they decided to track him down to his home in Kilimani.

Upon arriving at the residence, Adala’s coworkers made the grim discovery of his lifeless body lying in a pool of blood.

How His Family Learnt of His Death

On the fateful day, Francis Oduor, the deceased’s nephew, searched for his uncle after he couldn’t be found within his vast house, even upstairs where he slept.

Oduor then questioned the female domestic help and the watchman, both of whom denied seeing Adala.

He eventually discovered his uncle’s body inside the servant quarter and informed his kin, who immediately notified the police.
