The Taita Taveta County Government has announced 31 vacant positions within the County Public Service and invites applications from qualified Kenyan citizens.
The vacancies were announced by the Taita Taveta County Public Service Board and span several departments, including the Office of the Governor, the Department of Health Services, and the Department of Finance and Economic Planning.
All positions are on permanent and pensionable terms, except for one post, which is offered on a two-year contract.
Jobs Available Across Key Taita Taveta County Government Departments
In the Office of the Governor, the board is seeking to recruit a County Chief Officer responsible for Livestock Development.
The position is graded at CPSB O2 and will be offered on a two-year contract.
Most of the vacancies are in the Department of Health Services, which is seeking to fill 29 positions across different cadres.
The department is seeking one Senior Deputy Chief Health Administrative Officer in the CPSB O5 job group.

Other advertised posts in the health department include one Administrative Officer, one Chief Registered Nurse, two Nutrition and Dietetics Officers, one Health Administrative Officer, three Registered Clinical Officers, 10 Kenya Registered Nurse III officers, one Medical Social Worker III, two Orthopaedic Technologist III officers, one Assistant Physiotherapist III, five Assistant Public Health Officer II officers, one Medical Laboratory Technologist III and one Sonographer II.
All health department positions are on permanent and pensionable terms.
An additional vacancy has been advertised in the Department of Finance and Economic Planning.
The board is seeking to recruit one Assistant Director, Internal Audit, at job group CPSB O5.
This position is also permanent and pensionable.

How to Apply and Key Requirements
The board has directed that all applications be addressed to the Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Taita Taveta County Public Service Board.

Applications should be sent to Private Bag, Voi.
Applicants may also hand-deliver their documents to the County Public Service Board offices in Voi, located opposite Voi Prison.
Candidates have been reminded to clearly indicate the vacancy reference number for the position they are applying for.
Each application should include a clear copy of a national identity card or a valid passport.
Applicants are also required to attach copies of academic and professional certificates, as well as other relevant testimonials.
The board stressed that the documents must reach its offices on or before May 18, 2026.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
The County Public Service Board has encouraged youth, women, and persons with disabilities to apply for the advertised positions.
It has, however, warned that any form of canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
The board further cautioned members of the public against fraudsters, noting that it does not charge any fees at any stage of the recruitment process, including application review or facilitation of interviews.
Applicants have been advised to report any cases of bribery or solicitation to the nearest police station.
