Sadness engulfed the Nyamache area in Kisii County on Wednesday, April 5 after two children lost their lives following a drowning incident.
According to a report seen by The Kenya Times, the two cousins aged a year and a half alongside his 4-year-old kin lost their lives to the waves of River Omongonga in Nymache.

Police from the area told newsmen and women that they led the search for the two after they were reported missing.
“The two had gone to play near the river before drowning,” a resident told reporters. Their bodies were retrieved at least 3 kilometres from their home in Bokinami village.
Bodies of the two have been taken to Nyamache mortuary as investigations continue.
