Former president Uhuru Kenyatta on Saturday, December 7, 2024, attended the wedding of former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka‘s daughter Damarie Saada.

Musyoka’s daughter Damarie Saada wedded the love of her life, Martin Nyaga, in a lavish wedding ceremony held in Naivasha, Nakuru county.

Kalonzo shared the photos while thanking Uhuru for attending the lavish wedding, with the two being spotted chatting away during the service.

“I thank President Uhuru Kenyatta for his friendship and solidarity with my family by attending the wedding ceremony of our daughter Damarie Saada and Martin Nyaga this afternoon in Naivasha,” he said.

In other photos, the politician’s daughter looked stunning in her white wedding held at garden and attended by society’s elite.

Notable attendees included former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, former Baringo senator Gideon Moi, and Senator Enoch Wambua, among others

Kalonzo on the other hand walked her down the aisle, and a veil covered her face right before her groom Nyaga removed it to see her stunning face.

The dotting father was a proud dad, and he looked sharp in a tight-fitting suit. The politician gave his blessings to the happy couple.

He shared: “On behalf of my family, I give my full blessings to this wonderful couple, Damarie Saada and Martin Nyaga. Remember God and let him be in the center of your marriage. Keep close the words of Proverbs 24:3-4, ‘by wisdom. a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge, its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.”

While Kalonzo has been a prominent figure in Kenyan politics for nearly half a century, his daughter Damarie has largely stayed out of the public eye.

A lawyer by profession, Saada has built an impressive career, focusing on International Human Rights Law.

Damarie’s career has been dedicated to advancing human rights. Currently, she is working towards her PhD at Leeds University, continuing her passion for law and human rights.

Before starting her PhD, she worked as a Communications and Programs Associate at Amnesty International Kenya.

Damarie’s academic journey is nothing short of remarkable. She attended Kianda High School from 2010 to 2014, followed by Brook High School in 2014-2015.
In 2015, she moved to the United Kingdom to pursue higher education at Leeds University where she earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in 2018 and a Master of Laws (LLM) in 2019.
