Uproar as Student Thrown Out of Moving Vehicle by Boyfriend

22-year-old Eileen Cherotich, a student at the Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology, was allegedly thrown out of a moving vehicle by her boyfriend. 

According to police, the incident occurred on Saturday, July 13, night in Nakuru.

Further, the commandant at the Nakuru West police station reported that the business student was on her way from a drinking joint with her boyfriend when they got into an argument.

Cherotich’s boyfriend is said to have thrown her out of the moving vehicle during their altercation.

“There were having a drinking spree at a certain pub in Nakuru. As they were going back, the deceased and her boyfriend inside the car. And the suddenly, nobody knows what happened, but the deceased was out of the vehicle. 

“Whether she was thrown or whether she jumped on her own, we have not yet established,” said the police.

Police Issue Next move as Uproar Begin Over Death of Student

Additionally, the police commandant stated that the owner of the vehicle was in custody alongside the women who was in the vehicle with the couple. 

“So far we have the owner of the car, and one of the girls who were in that vehicle,” he added. 

Following the incident, Cherotich’s collegemates blocked the road in protest, demanding justice for their colleague.

Students at the Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology lamented that older men had made a habit of taking advantage of the young girls at the institution.

“I received a call that Eileen had been killed by an older man. We have come to school to study yet older men are coming to take our girls. This is a last warning, if we see your cars around this area we will deal with you,” one of the students said.

As the investigation continues, the police have urged anyone with information related to the incident to come forward and assist in the ongoing probe. 

“We want justice for our comrade. Let us allow the police to work and determine what happened. They have two suspects in custody already and the vehicle is at the police station,” another comrade added.

Video Vixen Falls from Kasarani Building

In a separate incident, police officers have continued with investigations into the death of video vixen and model Sarah Njogu after she allegedly jumped from the second floor of a building.

According to the police, Sarah fell from the Storey building located in Seasons area of Kasarani estate.

However, her family believed that she could not have committed suicide and are calling for speedy investigations to reveal the perpetrators.

Reportedly, Sarah was having a house party with her friends. However, in the middle of the night, her friends said that she left the house and did not return. 

Also, Police officers discovered alcohol and bhang at the house.
