A video of a woman confronting an apartment manager in Nairobi has gone viral with Kenyans on social media debating her conduct.
In the video recorded from the altercation, the woman used harsh language on the manager and his crew and even asked for her “gun” at some point.
It all went down on the doorstep of the woman’s apartment when the crew approached her in an apparent rent dispute.
Familiar with her defiance, the manager came armed with a camera ready to expose everything that would transpire in the encounter.
One man introduced himself as the property manager, but she would have none of that. At the time, her family members including children were present to witness the drama as it unfolded.
In response to the demands made by the property manager, the woman was quick to point out that cameras installed in the apartment were not functional, attempting to justify her defiance.
She singled out some cameras she claimed were not functional and demanded that the property management should fix them first.
“I don’t care who you are, put cameras that work. You don’t know who you are messing with, they don’t work,” she insisted as the exchange turned heated.

She would also take issue with the manager’s comments about one of her kids, accusing him of referring to her son as ‘stupid’.
Woman Asks for her Gun
All these happenings were captured on camera despite her threats and intimidation. And when everything was showing signs of getting out of hand and a possibility of a physical fight, the woman pulled the biggest shock in the episode after asking for her gun.
“I will hit you; it is because my kids are here. You do not disrespect me in front of my kids, bring my gun,” the woman was captured saying.
The woman would also use some unprintable words, all this time with her son present.

In a separate encounter recorded in the parking garage of an apartment, the woman’s defiance was also manifested. Not even the presence of armed security guards and police officers would calm her down.
She even threatened to disarm and turn the guns carried by the officers against them and tried to take away a gadget recording her.
Kenyans have since expressed mixed reactions with a majority of comments calling her out for conduct to her landlord.
“Who behaves like that in front of their kids?” an X user named Sophia posed in her comment.
“She’s talking so rudely, seems she knows people who know people,” another user named Eric Musau opined.
