Police in Nandi county have arrested a primary school deputy headteacher for allegedly defiling a Standard Seven pupil .
Felix Murgor, 41, and the pupil underwent a medical examination at Nandi Hills Sub-County Hospital.
Nandi Hills Sub-County Police Commander Francis Omulo confirmed the arrest.
Murgor allegedly locked the girl in one of the lodgings in Nandi Hills town.

“The Assistant Chief of Kelbui sub-location brought a report that there was a school-going child who entered one lodging within Nandi Hills town.
“Police officers rushed and found the primary school deputy headteacher with a primary school pupil aged 14 years,” Omulo said.
He added: “Following the arrest,the two were taken to Nandi Hills Police Station awaiting medical examination reports and further police action”.
“We are set to arraign him at the Kapsabet Law Courts once we are done with our investigations. We will not tolerate any act against a minor ,” Omulo stated.
