A house-help has been charged at Nairobi court for defiling a 4-year-old girl
She is accused of allegedly compelling the to touch her private parts
Lilian Kamene Daudi denied the charges before Kibera chief Magistrate Ann Mwangi.
The offence was committed on unknown dates between the month of April 2021 and June 2022 at Exeter court Kilimani area within Nairobi County.
The accused faces another charge of intentionally and unlawfully using her finger/tongue to penetrate the private parts of J.S.A a child aged four years.
She also faces another count of committing an indecent act with the child contrary to section 11(I) of the sexual offence act.
The house-help told the court that the offence was fabricated.
Court papers reveal that the offence was revealed after the girl started having nightmares and screaming loudly asking the accused to spare her
The magistrate directed that the matter be mentioned before another court for pre-trial.
“Let this matter be mentioned today for pre-trial as the victim is a minor hence the need to fast track the case,” said Mwangi.
The accused was granted a bond of Sh200,000 or a cash bail of Sh100,000 with the surety of the same amount.
The court is yet to give further directions on the hearing date.
