Additionally, he criticized President William Ruto for taking police officers to Haiti yet there are insecurity cases in Kenya, Migori included.
“The president has taken one thousand police officers to Haiti at a time when we Kenyans are facing insecurity cases,” he said.
“If one police officer can protect one thousand Kenyans how then do you take one thousand police officers to Haiti when in Nyanza especially Migori we are constantly being murdered, ” added the second resident.
Also, the resident explained that Nyanza residents deserve good security since they pay taxes used to equip security organs.
In addition, another resident said the murder of the three watchmen is not the first incident in the region.

He expressed his worry over the increase in the number of insecurity cases in Migori town.
“We want to ask the county commander to ensure police officers patrol at night, we don’t want to continue losing lives,” he said.
The murder of the three marks the second of such incident in Migori this year after another watchman was killed in February in a violent robbery.
During the incident, 18 motorcycles and 30 mobile phones were stolen from a shop.
