Veteran media personality and radio presenter Charles Muga, alias CT Muga, has landed a new role after his exit from Spice FM.
CT Muga has joined Radio Generation as a guest radio presenter at the recently launched station.
He was introduced as the newest member of the station through Radio Generation’s social media platforms in a statement dated Tuesday, July 29, 2025.
“He’s back where he belongs! The legendary CT Muga returns to the airwaves — now riding the bold wave of Radio Generation! Catch him as Guest Host on The People’s Breakfast, serving hard truths and bold insights tomorrow morning from 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM,” read part of the announcement.
CT Muga Joins Radio Generation
CT Muga will co-host The People’s Breakfast, the station’s debut morning show, alongside Munga’la Mbuvi and Patriciah Wayua. A source at the station told the Kenya Times that Muga will drive the show’s conversations through traditional well-thought-out analysis of socio-economic and political analysis.
The People’s Breakfast is unique for its “only-talk” format, which excludes musical breaks and features news updates only at the top of the hour.

Before joining Radio Generation, CT Muga worked at Standard Media Group’s Spice FM, where he co-hosted the morning talk show The Situation Room for nearly six years. During his time on the show, he worked alongside veteran journalist Eric Latiff—now at Nation Media Group—and radio presenter Ndu Okoh, who remains at Standard Media Group.
The Radio Talk Host’s Career
Muga’s exit from Spice FM comes months after Eric Latiff’s departure from the company.
In addition to being a talk show host, CT Muga is a political strategist and was once a high school teacher.
The Situation Room is known for its deep, engaging conversations on current affairs, politics, and social issues affecting Kenya and the wider region.
The show blends news analysis, interviews, and audience interaction, often opening with a proverb that sets the tone for the day.
