Former Cabinet Secretary for Investments, Trade and Industry, Moses Kuria, has defended the Akorino during an Akorino Israel Thanksgiving service held at State House on April 12.
He spoke out against the discrimination of the believers in the denomination during job seeking, stating that all religions should be given equal respect.
In addition, he asked that President William Ruto oversee that more people from the denominations are appointed and given opportunities in different offices in Ke” ya.
“I am happy today, because I know the journey that the President has taken with our Akorino people from 2016. To find someone who has hired a person from the denomination is difficult; these people are an example of historical injustices,” Moses stated.

With reference to the former political leaders Daniel Moi, Jomo Kenyatta, Mwai Kibaki, and Uhuru Kenyatta, Moses added that President Ruto should be accorded the same respect as the former Kenyan Presidents.
