President William Ruto’s strong ally has endorsed Embakasi East Member of Parliament (MP) Babu Owino for President. Cosmas Ombori Monari popularly known as Cosmo Choy is an American-based Kenyan and a strong supporter of President Ruto.
In a statement on March 23, Choy said Babu Owino will serve as an MP for 10 years until 2027.
He will unseat Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja and serve between 2037 and 2047 as the city boss.
Choy said Babu Owino will then run for the presidency in 2037 and serve as the head-of-state for two terms.
Afterwards, he said the MP would serve as a bishop for the rest of his life.
“MP, 2017 -2027. Governor, 2027 – 2037. President, 2037 – 2047. Bishop, 2047- till death,” he captioned a photo of a Babu Owino.
Cosmo Choy Resigns to Campaign for 2027
On February 24, Choy announced his resignation from his job at a US-based trucking company to run for Embakasi East parliamentary seat in the 2027 general election.
Choy worked at Ryder which is a logistics company where he worked.
“Just resigned from this international company Ryder18 wheels, I am running for MP Embakasi East 2027. Message approved 100 %,” Cosmos Choy wrote on X.

Meeting With Ruto
On March 8, he posted a photo of himself with Bishop Edward Mwai at Jesus Winners Ministry.
This came a week after he met President Ruto at the same Church after a service.
“Having a discussion with my lovely brother President Ruto, at Jesus Winners Ministry. Message approved,” Choy wrote on X.
He had also started embracing Babu Owino and campaigning for him on X for the gubernatorial seat.
On February 28, he posted a photo of himself with Babu Owino and Lang’ata MP Felix Odiwor, alias Jalang’o.
“Governor of Nairobi 2027 with his MP Embakasi East. Message approved 100%,” he said.

Choy Attacks Raila for Supporting Sakaja
This was followed by another post on March 2, where he explained that Nairobi needs the intelligence of Babu Owino in 2027.
“Nairobi Governor 2027! We need brains in city hall, not dimples! Message approved,” he wrote on X.
Choy supported former Prime Minister Raila Odinga in the 2017 general elections but switched allegiances to back President Ruto in 2022.
He criticized Raila for endorsing Sakaja for the gubernatorial elections in 2027.
“Raila endorsed Sakaja. Without knowing, he gave Babu Owino more popular,” he said.
