He added that rescue and repair efforts are ongoing across multiple regions following a massive, coordinated Russian assault targeting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
“Nearly 400 drones and 29 missiles of various types were used, including ballistic ones. A significant number were shot down, but unfortunately there were also hits,” read part of the statement.
According to Zelenskyy, tens of thousands of residents were left without heat and water supplies after drone strikes damaged critical infrastructure.

The Ukrainian President stated that the southern port city of Odesa was among the hardest hit. Overall, 12 regions were targeted in the assault.
Emergency and utility services have been deployed to restore essential services.
Ukrainian authorities reported that at least nine people were injured, including children, and more than 10 residential buildings sustained damage, along with railway infrastructure.
Zelenskyy has called on international partners to respond firmly to Russia’s continued aggression.

He called for tougher sanctions and faster military assistance, especially to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense systems, stating that firmer action is essential to achieve a “real and just” peace.
On his part, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister, Andrii Sybiha, has called on the international community to pair diplomacy with firm measures following Russia’s overnight attacks.
He stressed that Moscow responds only to pressure and that diplomatic efforts will be ineffective without accompanying strength.
Sybiha added that new sanctions should include measures against Russia’s shadow fleet, a ban on maritime services, and restrictions on individuals involved in the aggression.

Zelenskyy has highlighted the impact of ongoing Russian strikes on Ukraine, urging world leaders to recognize the full extent of the challenges posed by Russian aggression and modern warfare.
Speaking at the Munich Security Conference in Germany on February 14, Zelenskyy stressed the ongoing effort Ukraine must make to secure international support in defending its national interests.
He illustrated the situation with visuals showing recent attacks, including strikes that occurred during his visit.
Zelenskyy revealed that in January alone, Ukraine faced attacks from 6,000 drones, mostly Shahed drones, over 150 Russian missiles of various types, and more than 5,000 glide bombs.
