Charisma, popularly known as Captain Charisma or Luhya Heat, is a celebrated Kenyan singer, songwriter, and dancer who first rose to fame as the lead vocalist of the popular boy band Le Band.
His talent, charisma, and artistry quickly set him apart, making him one of the most promising voices in the Kenyan music scene.
Education
Born Fidel Eli Shammah Omusula, Charisma attended Nairobi School for his secondary education.
Later, joined the University of Nairobi, where he pursued and graduated with a degree in Law.
Despite his academic background in law, his passion for music steered him toward a full-time career in the arts.

Career of Charisma
Charisma’s big break came with Le Band, a group that gained massive popularity with hits such as “Number 1,” featuring Suzziah, which garnered four million views on YouTube, and “Nakupenda,” featuring Khaligraph Jones.
As the group’s lead vocalist, his smooth voice and stage presence played a key role in their success.
After the band’s breakup, Charisma embarked on a solo career, determined to carve out his own path.
He released his debut album, The Motions, a project that showcased his flexibility and ability to blend different genres.
His solo catalog includes tracks such as “Sina Noma,” “True Love,” “Let You Know,” “Marry,” “U Twice,” and “Wivu,” among others.
Beyond his solo projects, Charisma has become known for his extensive collaborations across the African music industry.
He has worked with renowned artists such as Trio Mio, Bensoul on True Issues, Okello Max on Sherehe and Sude Ka, Mbithi on Ulivyonipenda, Emma Cheruto on Love Me, Njerae on Tuthi Nawe, Maandy on Ficha, Tsar Leo on Designers and DOE, Blacka Fellah, Ywaya Tajiri, and Coster Ojwang on Away (Omale), Watendawili, and Mutoriah on Ona, demonstrating his ability to connect with different audiences.
Charisma is also a gifted dancer, a trait that complements his artistry and contributes to his reputation as a dynamic performer.
