Family Bank has announced the disposal of a wide fleet of vehicles, giving prospective buyers the chance to acquire units from as low as Ksh200,000 in an auction.

In a tender notice on Monday, December 1, 2025, the bank invited offers for a diverse collection of motor vehicles, including saloon cars, pickups, SUVs, lorries, trucks, canters, trailers, and buses.

According to the notice, the vehicles are spread across multiple storage yards across the country, including Nairobi, Mombasa, Eldoret, Nakuru, Kitui, Thika, Ruiru, Sagana, Bungoma, and Kisii, where potential buyers can conduct physical inspections before bidding.

Among the most affordable options is a Toyota NZE sedan with a reserve price of Ksh200,000, making it one of the least costly units in the catalogue.

Several other budget-friendly vehicles, including Nissan vans and compact saloons, are priced from Ksh350,000 to Ksh450,000.

Buyers interested in pickups have a variety of choices as well, with Toyota Hilux, Isuzu, and Mitsubishi models available in the mid-range.

Many of these units are priced below Ksh1 million, while others fall between Ksh1 million and Ksh1.6 million, depending on their specifications and condition.

The auction list also features heavy commercial units. These include Mitsubishi and Isuzu tippers, canters, and delivery trucks, with reserve prices ranging from Ksh1.5 million to Ksh3.5 million. More premium options, such as Mercedes-Benz Actros trucks, appear at even higher price points above Ksh2 million.

For buyers seeking passenger transport vehicles, the notice lists several Toyota and Isuzu buses, some starting at Ksh800,000 and others priced above Ksh1.7 million. The most expensive vehicle at the auction is a Scania F310 bus, which has a reserve price of Ksh2.7 million.

All vehicles can be viewed at the designated storage yards before bidding. These include Matrix Movers in Mombasa, Capital Diamond Storage Yards in Thika and Ruiru, Upstate Motors in Sagana, and Valuers Gate.

How to bid

Others include Naivasha Auto Storage Yard, Legacy Storage Yard in Nakuru, Phillips Auctioneers in Kileleshwa, Blackbird Storage Yard in Mombasa, Mount Kenya Auction and Storage Yard, and the Eldoret Auction Centre, among others listed in the notice.

Bids may also be dropped in the tender box on the 8th floor of Family Bank Towers, Muindi Mbingu Street.

All offers must be received on or before December 8, 2025, and the bank has clearly stated that all vehicles will be sold on an “as-is, where-is” basis, urging interested bidders to conduct thorough inspections before submitting their bids.
