LGBTQ crusader Noti Flow’s ex-girlfriend Armaan Bux alias King Alami has lost one of her arms through a necessary amputation to save her life.
The Kenya Times has learnt Alami’s arm was amputated after suffering major injuries following a serious fall off the 7th floor of an apartment building in Roysambu.
News about Alami’s latest status was first shared by her father who launched an online fund-drive through Go Fund Me.
Through the platform, Alami’s dad also disclosed doctors will still have to perform a number of surgeries on Alami who has been admitted at the Kenyatta National Hospital for over a week now.
The dad also used the opportunity to plead with well-wishers to help the family by contributing towards Alami’s growing hospital bill.
“Hello – the family of Arman Bux is requesting your help in raising funds to pay medical bills. Arman is 19 years old and is the daughter of Shakay and Sakina Bux. She recently had a major fall which left her with serious injuries requiring several surgeries. The doctors have had to amputate one arm and are working on the rest of her injuries at Kenyatta National Hospital. Arman was an athlete in school and was on her journey of exploration as a young adult when this misfortune occurred. She has her whole life ahead of her and it will take a lot of work both mentally and physically to overcome all the challenges she will face after the surgeries. Your support will be greatly appreciated. Thank you,” read the message on Go Fund Me.
The latest development unfolded barely hours after Noti Flow took to social media to thank Kenyans for donating blood for Alami.
Noti Flow sent a note of appreciation to her fans and friends who turned out to donate blood for Alami as they also pursue means to settle the hospital bill.

“We’ve got enough blood, for now, thank you for your will to help in case more is needed will Halla Please keep praying for my baby to be well & strong soon Also I’m being told the Paybill might change as the billing in for are different for respective surgeries,” Noti wrote.

Preliminary reports intimated Alami was trying to commit suicide by jumping off a building after being cheated on by her lover.
This, however, has been refuted by her family who insist she may have been pushed by someone and confirmed that police have been involved and are conducting investigations.
