10 Possible Careers for Grade 10 Learners Taking Fine Arts

As learners prepare to transition to Grade 10 in Senior School following the release of the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA) results, the Ministry of Education has outlined possible career paths learners can pursue after completing Senior School, depending on their chosen pathways.

Under the Competency-Based Education (CBE) curriculum, the Arts form a specialized track within the STEM pathway.

The core subjects for Arts in the track are History, Geography, Hindu Religious Education, Christian Religious Education, and Mathematics.

Career options for Grade 10 Learners pursuing Fine Arts

At Senior School level, learners select three subjects from their chosen pathway and combine them with four compulsory core subjects: English, Kiswahili or Kenyan Sign Language (KSL), Physical Education, and Community Service Learning.

Therefore, these subject combinations determine the career options learners can pursue after Senior School.

According to the Ministry of Education, several subject combinations are available under the Fine Arts track, each aligned with specific career pathways.
