CPA Exam Timetable & Guidelines for December Announced

Kasneb provided details regarding specific examination dates for each course, registration, and examination entry as well as methods of payment of fees

Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB) has issued guidelines for the December 2023 examinations.

In the announcement on Tuesday, September 12, Kasneb CEO Prof. Nicholas Letting’ stated that the examinations will be conducted from Monday, December 4 to Friday, December 8.

“Students of Kasneb, parents, sponsors, guardians, training institutions and other stakeholders are hereby notified that the December 2023 examinations will be conducted within a period of five days from Monday, December 4 to Friday, 8 December 2023,” stated Kasneb.

Further, Kasneb provided details regarding specific examination dates for each course, registration, and examination entry as well as methods of payment of fees.

Examination Dates

On Monday December 4 and Tuesday December 5, Kasneb will hold examinations for Diploma in Data Management and Analytics (DDMA), Diploma in Computer Networks and Systems Administration (DCNSA) and Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills (CAMS).

Further, from Monday December 4 to Thursday December 7, Kasneb will conduct examinations for Accounting Technician Diploma (ATD), Certified Secretaries (CS), Certified Public Accountants (CPA) and Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (CIFA).

Examinations for Certified Credit Professionals (CCP), Certified Information Systems Solutions Expert (CISSE), Certified Forensic Fraud Examiner (CFFE) and Vocational Certificate courses: (VCEI), (VCGD), (VCICS) and VCBCT will be held within the same period.

Additionally, examinations for Associate in Procurement and Supply of Kenya (APS-K), Certified Quality Professional (CQP) and Certified Procurement and Supply Professional of Kenya (CPSP-K) will be conducted within the same period.

Examinations for Foreign Accountancy Qualifications (FAQ) will be administered on Tuesday, December 5 and Thursday, December 7.

Moreover, the Business Data Analytics Practical Paper (CPA) and Financial Modelling and Data Analytics Practical Paper (CIFA) is scheduled for Friday, December 8.

“Candidates are advised to make early arrangements, including seeking permission from employers where applicable, to ensure that they sit for the examinations,” noted Kasneb.

Kasneb Registration and Examination Entry

Kasneb revealed that the closing date for registration and examination entry for the December 2023 examinations will be Friday, November 3.

Methods of Payment of Fees

Kasneb mentioned that fees payment can be made through the student portal.

“Students are advised to use student portal link https://online.kasneb.or.ke. A detailed guide regarding this mode of payment is available within the student portal,” stated Kasneb.

Also, the board said students may pay fees through the Kasneb Fee Collection Account, KCB Bank Ltd, account number 1203681 194.

Additionally, foreign based students should pay through KCB Dollar account number 1123096465.

“Students are advised to utilize the above payment channels. Please note that no payment shall be made through any member of staff or agent of Kasneb.

Cash payments will not be accepted at Kasneb offices. Students based outside Kenya/ Foreign students are advised to pay the applicable fees in Us dollars,” noted Kasneb.

Kasneb said continuing students of Kasneb are required to renew their annual registration by July 1 of each year.

Also, Kasneb directed new students to note that the annual registration renewal fee is due on July 1 following the first eligible examination sitting and annually thereafter.

Further, they announced that certificates for successful students for past examination sittings up to and including April 2023 sitting are ready for collection.

“Eligible graduates and continuing students may collect the certificates in person at Kasneb Towers Upper Hill Nairobi.

They should also provide a reliable postal address through which they prefer their certificates to be posted as well as their mobile numbers. These details should be submitted via email address [email protected],” said Kasneb.
