KCB Foundation will provide a four-year scholarship for 100 students with disabilities in secondary schools.
The 100 beneficiaries will form part of 1,000 students set to benefit from a programme that is targeting 50 per cent females.
KCB Foundation, through an advertisement, announced that they will carry out interviews across different counties for its 2023 class.
“Interviews will be conducted in all counties on 13 and 14 January in selected learning institutions,” read part of the advert.
“KCB Foundation provides high school education scholarships for bright but marginalized and disadvantaged boys and girls, teenage mothers, girls rescued from early marriages, boys from areas affected by cattle rustling, FGM champions and areas with high poverty indexes.” It further reads.
Moreover, beneficiaries of the scholarship get tuition fees, learning materials, transport, shopping as well as psychosocial support.
Nonetheless, the process of selecting beneficiaries of the Wings to Fly scholarship programme has already begun.

Likewise, students set to join Form 1 in February this year will have a chance to be selected and attend interviews.
For one to qualify, they need to have scored 350 marks and above.
Moreover, the Wings to Fly program is a partnership between Equity Group Foundation and Equity Bank.
Wings to Fly receives additional financial support from other partners notably KfW, Mastercard Foundation, USAID, UKAid, private institutions and individuals.
The program which started in 2010 has grown to offer 20,009 scholarships.
Wings to Fly is a comprehensive secondary school scholarship program for academically gifted but financially challenged children from all over the country.
