The Performing and Audio-Visual Rights Society of Kenya (PAVRISK) has announced job vacancies for Copyright Licensing Officers in 15 counties across the country.
In a vacancy notice dated March 11, 2026, PAVRISK said it is seeking motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented individuals to serve as Copyright Licensing Officers within their counties of residence.
The positions are commission-based and are aimed at strengthening licensing and royalty collection for music and audio-visual works used publicly.
The officers will support the organization’s mandate to license public performance and communication of musical and audiovisual works on behalf of rights holders in Kenya.
PAVRISK Announces Job Vacancies
PAVRISK explained that the officers will be responsible for identifying businesses that publicly use music and audio-visual content.
These include hotels, bars, restaurants, entertainment venues, retail outlets, public service vehicles, and other establishments.
The officers will be expected to educate business owners on copyright compliance and the importance of obtaining valid licenses.

According to PAVRISK, the role will also involve facilitating the issuance of licenses and supporting royalty collection in line with PAVRISK guidelines.

Officers will be required to maintain accurate records of licensed users within their assigned areas.
They will submit periodic reports on licensing and enforcement activities and support public awareness initiatives on copyright protection within their counties.
Minimum Requirements
PAVRISK said the positions are open to candidates who meet specific minimum requirements.
Applicants must have a diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Prior experience in sales, banking, insurance, microfinance, marketing, civil service, or customer relations will be considered an added advantage.
The organization noted that applicants must currently reside in the county they are applying for.
Applications from candidates living outside the specified counties will not be considered.
Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to meet sales or collection targets.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are also required for the role.
Applicants are expected to be self-motivated and to demonstrate high levels of integrity and professionalism.
PAVRISK clarified that the engagement is purely commission-based.
“This engagement is purely commission-based, with competitive commission rates based on successful licensing and revenue collection performance, and successful candidates will support PAVRISK licensing operations within their county of residence,” read part of the advertisement by PAVRISK.

Only individuals who perform well in licensing operations within their county of residence will continue to be engaged.

The cover letter must clearly indicate the county in which the applicant is currently residing.
