The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has initiated printing of ballot papers in Greece.
Moreover, IEBC commissioner Francis Wanderi on Monday, July 4, reported that the pending appeal case by Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, will not hold them hostage and hinder the ballot paper printing exercise by Inform Lykos.
In addition, Mr. Wanderi mentioned that, the electoral body has to go on with preparations as required, to ensure the country is well prepared for the polls.
Furthermore, IEBC announced that, in case the primary press faces unexpected challenges, there will be a backup set in Romania. According to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Lykos provided sufficient contingency plans to deliver on its contractual obligations.

Nonetheless, IEBC Commissioner Abdi Guliye had earlier on during the consultative meeting with the four presidential aspirants, said that the electoral commission is satisfied with the firm.
“This is a very reputable firm in terms of printing and have a capacity twice higher that of Al Ghurair which printed ballot papers for 2017 elections,” Guliye reported.
Likewise, Guliye praised the firm for having a backup site in the Balkans, in case of a technical hiccup at the Athens site.
