Biography
Faith Odhiambo is the 51st President of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) after she succeeded Eric Theuri.
Odhiambo is the second female president of the LSK after Raychelle Omamo, who served from 2001 to 2003,
Born to a lecturer, her father is a lecturer Maseno University, Odhiambo wears many academic hats.

Faith holds an LLB (Hons) from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of law
Similarly, she has earned an LLM (Hons) in International Commercial Law with European Law from the University of Kent (UK).
Odhiambo is a PhD student at the University of Nairobi where her research is focused on issues to do with competition law, consumer protection law, telecommunications law, banking law, financial services, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.
Additionally, she has studied basic Arabic, basic Italian and can speak French well enough to get by in a French-speaking country. This, of course, in addition to her three regular languages – Luo, Kiswahili and English.
Career
Prior to becoming the President of LSK, Faith Odhiambo served as the Vice president of the LSK during the Theuri’s tenure.
In 2017, she was also involved in a Retail Market Study of Kenya, Advisory Projects for Competition in the Mobile financial services in Tanzania, as well as the Advisory projects on Spectrum Management in Kenya.
Odhiambo is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators-UK (MCIarb) and is a Certified Public Secretary (CPS).
The LSK President also served as a board secretary of the Federation of Women Lawyers-Kenya (FIDA-Kenya) and is a partner at Ombok and Owuor Advocates and a consulting partner at MMA Advocates.
Shortly after her election, Faith vowed to fight corruption to the core in her mandate. She also promised to stand firm in serving members of the society and addressing their grievances while insisting that service had always been part of her dream.
She was elected to spearhead the Society for two years, taking over from Eric Theuri who was at the helm of LSK for two years – from 2022 to 2024.
Faith won the prestigious seat in the society against other female competitors including former LSK Vice president Caroline Kamende and Hariet Njeri Mboce.
