Later, he joined Kenyatta University from 1988-1991 graduating with a Bachelor of Education (arts).

Career Background
He has served as a member of the parliament for Kathiani Constituency from 2013.
However, his career began as a graduate teacher at Nairobi Milimani Secondary School under the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) from 1991 to 1994.
He has also served as an Education Manager at Future Kids Limited from 1994-1997.
Additionally, was the Director and Proprietor at Mutungoni Academy from 1997-2013 before he joined politics.
He has worked as a member of different parliament committees. From 2017 to date he has been serving as a member of the Committee on Delegated Legislation.
At the same time a member of the Procedure and House Rules Committee and Regional Integration Committee.
