Azziad Nasenya Speaks About Hope Amid Debt Reports

Media personality and content creator Azziad Nasenya has shared a message of hope after she was accused of defaulting on debts.

Taking to her Instagram platform, Azziad reflected on her current situation and expressed her hope that light will shine upon her.

“Can you see the sun? Can you see how bright it is? And you know that is how life is. Sometimes it is dark, it is going to be stormy but at the end of the day the light will shine, and the good things will take course,” stated Azziad.

This comes a few days after Azziad was accused by TikToker Mary Musyoka of failing to pay back some Ksh 300,000 debt.

“I want you to go and tell that girl, who owes everyone in Kenya to pay back my money. I do not work so hard to fund your lifestyle. You conned me and I will say it,” stated Mary.

Mary went on to unleash voice notes of the creator asking for money from her and promising to pay her back in three days.

“I am in a fix, and I am stuck. There is a whole story behind it, but I will tell you the details later in case you are interested. I need a loan for a rather large sum of money, but I promise you will have it back by Sunday at the latest. I am stranded; it is crazy,” stated the lady in the voice note shared by Mary Musyoka. 

The creator later stated that the debt had been paid by Azziad’s friend.

Azziad’s manager addresses debt claims

Before Mary publicly stated that the content creator owed her money, blogger Edgar Obare had posted messages from anonymous sources accusing her of borrowing large sums of money and failing to pay back the money.

Following these allegations, old videos resurfaced online of Azziad stating in an interview that she does not seek financial assistance.

“There is satisfaction in making money from your own hard work. I sleep well knowing that I made Ksh 50 on my own. I do not know how to beg, and I never want to put myself in a position where I have to,” she stated.

While commenting on the issue, Azziad Nasenya’s manager Peter Kawa addressed the claims, stating that the creator resides with her mother in Germany.

“She is okay and with her mum in Germany. I cannot confirm or deny anything about the claims circulating online. Whoever wants to speak can speak,” stated Kawa.
