Nairobi is awash with events and big artists set to perform in early 2025. Jamaican singer Chris Martin and Nigeria’s Burna Boy will set precedence for a lineup of events taking place in 2025.
Jamaican reggae and dancehall singer Chris Martin is scheduled to perform on February 8, 2025, at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi.
“My Kenyan family, it has been a long time and I’m so excited we’re going to connect again soon. It is like an early birthday gift for me. See you on the 8th of February 2025 at the Uhuru Gardens for the Sounds from Africa,” stated Chris Martin.
Die-hard tickets that have since been sold out were going for Ksh1,500. At the same time, regular tickets for phase 1 and VIP phase 1 tickets that were going for Ksh2,500 and Ksh4,500 respectively have been sold out.
Ticket prices for the events
Phase two tickets are still available and are going for Ksh3,000 for regular tickets and Ksh6,500 for VIPs. Tickets are available on the Sounds from Africa Website.

Nigeria’s superstar Burna Boy is set to perform in Nairobi on March 1, 2025, at the Nairobi Polo Club. The concert had been earlier scheduled for December 30, 2024, before being postponed.
Early bird regular tickets that have since been sold out were going for Ksh4,000 while advance regular tickets are going at Ksh8,000.
VIP tickets for the much-anticipated event are going for Ksh25,000 while VVIP tickets are going for Ksh65,000. Tickets are available at mudfun.com.
Nairobi Food Festival 2025
Food enthusiasts have something to look forward to in early 2025. The Nairobi Street Food Festival is set to take place on March 8, 2025, at the Jamhuri Showground Main Arena.

Advance tickets are going for Ksh500 for adults while kids between seven and twelve will be charged Ksh300. Tickets at the gate go for Ksh800 for adults while those for kids (7-12) go for Ksh500.

Ngemi Homecoming is another event that is set to take place in early 2025. The event brings together a blend of Kikuyu music and culture.
It is set to take place on March 8, 2025, in Kiambu. Tickets are available on a rolling basis and are available on the Ngemi Homecoming Instagram page.
