Comedian and content creator Oga Obinna has penned a heartfelt message to men who get women pregnant and abandon their parental duties.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Obinna urged men to take responsibility for the children they father.
“Men stop denying your children. Imagine it is just a child. An innocent being,” stated Obinna.
While he stated that he understands their plight, he advised men to take a DNA test to confirm that the child is theirs if they are in doubt and once they confirm, they should not deny their children.

“I know you are not sure the child is yours but slowly but surely, conduct a DNA test. Take care of your child, do not let them suffer,” said Obinna.

Obinna added that the fact that the men may feel they were not ready for a child is no excuse for abandoning a child. He urged men to take responsibility because both the mother and the child have a role to play in siring the child.
“I know you did not plan you were not ready, she lied she was safe or she had protection. But now it has happened. You both had a role to play right?” added Obinna.
He urged the men not to give up even if the mother of the child is ungrateful as they are doing it for the baby and not the mother.
Fan regrets abandoning ex-girlfriend
Obinna was responding to a fan who had sent him an anonymous message asking for his help after abandoning his family.
The fan stated that he abandoned his then-girlfriend after she fell pregnant two years ago. Since then he has never had peace and has been trying to reconnect with the lady to no avail.

“I have really suffered those two years, I have never been mentally okay. I do not know whether she cursed me. My family influenced me badly especially my mom to leave the girl. She did nothing wrong. I have looked for her but cannot find her,” wrote the fan.
The fan asked Obinna to post his story in order to get insights on how he can handle the situation.
