Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter.K Salasya has taken a swipe at Sports CS Ababu Namwamba after he nominated and appointed Tik Tok Sensation Azziad Nasenya to a state job.
Taking to his Twitter account on Tuesday, February 21, the first-time lawmaker lamented that Ababu does not answer his phone calls, but he is busy engaging in other ‘non-serious affairs’.

On February 10, Ababu established the Creatives Technical Committee through a gazette notice of which Azziad is a member.
Comedian Daniel Ndambuki will chair the committee popularly known as Churchill and will serve for a period of three years.

Other members of the committee include Akinyi Odongo, Jimmi Gathu, Esther ‘Akothee’ Akoth, Kizito Makhande, Rosemary Wahu Kagwi, Awadhi Salim Awadhi, Douglas Kipkirui, and Langat Susan Ekasiba.
Accepting her nomination for the position, Azziad expressed her gratitude to Ababu stating, “I sincerely thank honorable Ababu Namwamba and the entire Ministry of Youth Affairs, Sports and the Arts team for nominating me to be part of the Creatives Technical Committee.”
“I am a firm believer in the potential of the creative economy as a fulfilling career and source of income, and beneficiary of the same,” she further stated.
