Renowned media personality Willis Raburu has announced the relaunch of his show “Wabebe Experience”.
Raburu shared the news of the show’s return through a poster on his social media platforms, accompanied by the caption “The revolution will be televised.”
This announcement comes shortly after reports surfaced indicating that he had parted ways with TV47 the Cape Media-owned television station where he had been working.
In his farewell message to the TV47 family, Raburu expressed gratitude and pride for the remarkable growth they had achieved together during his time at the station.
Raburu had announced that his Wabebe show would be taking an indefinite break and would return in due course.

“We would like to announce that Wabebe Experience will be taking a seasonal break. We sincerely thank our viewers for their continued support and enthusiasm.”

Willis Joins Cape Media
Willis Raburu joined Cape Media’s TV47 in August 2023, two months after leaving Citizen TV.
Expressing his excitement about the move, Raburu stated, “I’m excited to be joining Kenya’s fastest-growing media house, TV47.”
“This partnership shows their commitment to diversity, quality and excellence, and I’ll be joining a team that continues to exhibit and grow these amazing tenets. Buckle your seatbelts! We are in for an amazing ride.”
Prior to his stint at TV47, Raburu had an extensive career at the Royal Media Services (RMS), where he hosted several popular shows, including the 10/10 show that aired every Friday night after the 9:00 pm news briefing.
Additionally, he was a familiar face on the Day Break Show and occasionally presented the lunch-hour news.
Raburu’s deep industry knowledge and experience were honed during his impressive 13-year tenure at RMS, showcasing his expertise in industry trends and broadcasting excellence.
