Controversial YouTuber Andrew Kibe has lost his channel with over 470,000 subscribers after YouTube terminated his account on Monday, September 11.
A spot check conducted by The Kenya Times confirmed that all the videos shared by the popular content creator were not available.
“The YouTube account associated with this video has been terminated,” a statement by YouTube reads while attempting to find his videos.
Moreover, the closure of Andrew Kibe’s account sparked varied reactions from both his die-hard fans and critics, making him one of the top trending people on X (formerly Twitter).
However, the controversial content creator did not directly talk about his channel being terminated but dismissed it saying he will continue creating content on other platforms.
“Train ili toka stenje kitambo, hizi ni kelele za chura. Time ya live ni ile ile aisay,” Kibe wrote on X.

This can loosely be translated as “The train left the station a while back, I am not shaken, my schedule for live sessions stands.”
Likewise, Kibe revealed that he will continue uploading content on X, Rumble, Instagram and TikTok even as he explores new media like Yafreeka.
Meanwhile, catch me tonight, same time here on X, Rumble, Instagram and TikTok. The train left the station,” Kibe wrote on X.
Nonetheless, Kibe, who currently operates from Texas, shot to social media fame due to his controversial content.
He has rubbed shoulders with several Kenyan celebrities including Diana Marua and Husband Bahati, comedian Terence Creative, Eve Mungai, Thee Pluto, Akothee and even former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko due to his critic opinions on their lives.

“I would like to officially claim responsibility for deleting Andrew Kibe’s YouTube Channel, nilikuwa nimeshakuwarn kibe (I had warned you). I am so happy today, thank you,” Obare wrote.

An X user named Eve Maina stated that “Hiyo Youtube channel imeniuma na ata sio yangu. Just by imagining all the hard work that was put into it. Anyway, rumble it is tonight,”
Loosely translating to “I am hurt by the closure of that YouTube channel, and it is not even mine.”
“I asked him to tone down his rhetoric. He can still pass the message without being abusive arrogant or dismissive,” X user Cynthia Wanjiru noted.
Why YouTube Can Terminate an Account
YouTube can terminate a channel if the account owner repeatedly violates their community guidelines or terms of service.
These may include uploading abusive, hateful, or pornographic content, among others.
