Comedian and content creator YY whose real name is Oliver Otieno has met his new girlfriend’s parents for an introduction. This comes following a breakup with his partner and baby mama, Marya Okoth, with whom he has had a long-term relationship.
A video clip posted by YY on his Instagram account captured the highlights of the event at the girls’ rural home. Further, the video spotted the comedian excited with his new lady in tow as well as the rest of the family.
At the same time, he was accompanied by his old friends and peers as they celebrated the moment.
Media sources reveal that the new catch emanates from a well-off family as vindicated by their palatial homestead.
“God thank you for the honor to meet her Parents…I can’t do it without you. Help me give my all,” YY’s statement reads in part.
YY Fans React
Waking up to this reality several YY’s fans have reacted to the new development in his quest to find love.
The move by the comedian has received both positive and negative reactions. While some have congratulated him and wished him well others have decided to lean on the other side of criticism.
“They always look lovely together,’ one of the fans positively cited. “Congratulations my brother I told you earlier that this was the one we will pay her dowry now see,” another comment read.
Furthermore, other comments indicate that the fans also wish that such love may also locate them someday evidenced by the reactions, “May this kind of love locate me.”
On the other hand, a section of the fans has lamented instead citing that the Comedian is hurting Marya.
‘You are hurting Marya, if you never wanted her why did you give her a child?” questioned one of the fans.
Moreover, others also warned him not to play with the new girlfriend as they claim he did to Marya.

On 5 September, the media reports revealed Marya Okoth confirmed to have officially parted ways with comedian YY after five years.
The news was shared in a statement indicating that the couple had to make the hard decision due to circumstances that could not be avoided.
The love birds expressed their sadness over the unfortunate split. In addition, they also took the opportunity to share their gratitude to all their supporters for the encouragement and love they accorded to them throughout their short-lived union.
“Thank you for your love and support through our union,” the statement read in part.
