The Digital Health Agency (DHA) is recruiting 70 job specialists to support its ongoing efforts to digitize Kenya’s public health sector and fast-track rollout of Universal Health Coverage (UHC).
According to the notice dated April 14, 2026, the available positions will be offered on a two-year contract, renewable based on performance and project needs.
The vacancies include 47 Project County Support Officers and 23 Project County Assistant Support Officers.
DHA stated that the recruitment falls under the Healthcare Information Technology Digitalization for Universal Healthcare Project, being implemented by DHA in collaboration with the State Department for Medical Services.
The project is supported through a partnership with the Safaricom Consortium, with a dedicated Project Management Office overseeing its execution.

The agency stated that candidates must apply for only one position and provide complete and accurate information on the website.

It further warned that providing false information or fake certificates is a criminal offense and will lead to disqualification.
“It is an offense to include incorrect information in the application. Details of academic and professional certificates not obtained by the closure of the advert should not be included,” read the notice.
DHA also added that canvassing in any form will automatically disqualify applicants.
To ensure equal employment opportunities are guaranteed for men, women, youth, persons with disabilities, and members of all ethnic groups, marginalized groups and minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.

The agency also stated that serving officers must present the original letter of appointment to their current substantive post during interviews.

Applicants must complete the online application form and attach scanned copies of their curriculum vitae (CV), academic and professional certificates, testimonials, and any other relevant supporting documents as required in the application process.
DHA stated that the deadline for application submission is April 28, 2026 (East African Time).

According to the agency, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further steps in the recruitment process.
Further, DHA highlighted that Shortlisted candidates will be required to present original identification documents, academic certificates, and transcripts during interviews.
They will later be deployed at the county level to provide technical support to health facilities and enhance the use of digital systems in healthcare delivery.
