Gospel singer Justina Syokau on Thursday, July 27 came out and exposed the father to her child over alleged negligence.
The Twendi Twendi hitmaker sensationally claimed she was overwhelmed after her ex-husband cut off financial support for their child.
In an emotional TitTok video that went viral on social media, she claimed that she was married to the father of her child in 2012 but left the marriage in 2013.
Furthermore, she claimed that some of the reasons behind her divorce was infidelity from her husband.

Syokau further blamed the father of her child for using his influence to block justice when she sought child support through the courts.
“I have done everything including going to his place of work, but he directed that I should be blocked from accessing him,’ she said.
Syokau says there’s no justice in Court
She added that on the few occasions that she has managed to get him to court, she went through humiliation.
“I had to stop going to court because he humiliated me so much in court by claiming that he doesn’t recognize me despite us having a son together,” she added.
In addition to the lack of support, she claimed that he has since withdrawn his son as a beneficiary on the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF).
“My son has been ailing and what hurts most is that his father has since stopped paying for his insurance. I’m struggling to seek medical attention for him,” she added.

Intimidation from ex-husband
She claimed that her ex-husband who is an officer at The Kenya Prisons Service has been threatening her, making her live in fear.
“For 10 years now, I’ve lived in fear of being killed by my ex-husband if I spoke out, but right now, I’m in a situation where I don’t care anymore,” she said.
In addition to the struggles in securing a job, Syokau blamed the political inclination of her ex-husband’s family saying it was blocking her opportunities.
“I have done things that have made me be deemed as crazy just to raise money to take care of child,” she added.
She asked Kenyans to support her financially even as she seeks to get justice for her child.
Syokau is known for her known for her hit song “Twendi Twendi” and she is also a content creator on social media.
