Hyatt Debuts Luxury 5 Star Hotel in Westlands, Nairobi

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has officially opened its first hotel in Kenya, making its debut in Kenya and adding a touch of refined luxury to Nairobi. 

The five-star hotel brings a blend of Kenya’s rich cultural heritage with Hyatt’s renowned service and premium experiences. 

Located at 38 Muthithi Road, Westlands, the hotel offers guests access to Nairobi’s vibrant attractions, including the Nairobi National Museum, Karura Forest, and Nairobi National Park. 

Also, guests get to enjoy upscale shopping and dining at the SARIT shopping centre and Westgate Mall.

Speaking on the launch, Stephen Ansell, Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa at Hyatt, expressed enthusiasm for Hyatt’s expansion into East Africa.

“We are thrilled to debut our first Hyatt-branded hotel in Kenya, marking a significant milestone in Hyatt’s growth in the African market,”

“We are pleased to offer our World of Hyatt members and customers even more destination choices while supporting modern travellers’ diverse needs,” he said.

A Look Inside the Nairobi Hyatt Hotel

Hyatt Regency Nairobi Westlands boasts 219 elegantly designed rooms, including 147 guestrooms and suites and 72 apartments tailored for long-term stays.

Additionally, the interiors are a symphony of warm tones and earthy textures inspired by Africa’s natural landscapes, creating a serene and inviting ambience.

Each room is equipped with 65-inch smart TVs, high-speed Wi-Fi, and luxurious bath amenities, ensuring comfort and convenience at every turn.

Other thoughtful touches within the rooms include an in-room coffee maker and a dedicated workspace. The hotel is designed to meet the needs of modern travellers seeking both relaxation and functionality.

District 6 Bar at the hotel offers a relaxed atmosphere with cocktails, local and international favourites, and stunning sunset views from its terrace.

Moreover, the all-day dining restaurant serves a variety of African, Asian, and Mediterranean cuisines.

On the other hand, the Atrium provides a cosy café setting, featuring premium Kenyan coffee, teas, and a selection of snacks and desserts.

The luxury establishment also offers world-class amenities and fitness.

Guests can unwind at the indoor pool, featuring open walls that flood the space with sunlight, or enjoy the fitness centre, complete with state-of-the-art equipment and expert-led fitness classes.
